Owner Antica Dolceria Bonajuto
Pierpaolo Ruta is the owner of Antica Dolceria Bonajuto in Modica and personifies the sixth generation of an ancient and prestigious dynasty of "ciucculatari" (chocolate-makers).
In 1992, he abandoned his university studies and, together with his father Franco, decided to carry on the longstanding family business.
The decision was made mainly to prevent the disappearance of a fragrance: the fragrance emanated by his grandfather, the fragrance of chocolate.
