I am an Electronics Engineer and, from 1999 to 2003, I worked in the field of research and training for universities and companies on wireless and optical communications IP networks. In 2002, I worked for 6 months as Vising PhD student at IBM Zurich Research Lab on Wireless networks.
I was a Contract Professor for "Telematics Workshop" and "Optical Communications", and Expert on the subject of "Telematics Systems" at the Faculty of Engineering in Florence. In 2003, I obtained my PhD in Telematics and Information Society and was then hired at the Florence Municipal Authority, where I currently work in the Information Systems Department. I have been Manager of the Technological Infrastructure Development Service since 2011. As co-author, I have published more than 20 articles in scientific and industry journals and in international and national conference proceedings.
