Destination Marketing & Management

I deal with the planning and implementation of tourist marketing strategies for tourism businesses and government structures of the destinations, from product organisation to promo-marketing on the on and off-line channels, with particular focus on the opportunities provided by European funds dedicated to development and projects aimed at enhancing the value of the cultural activities.

I am currently working on the development of projects for Invitalia, based on the innovation of tourism businesses and support to start-up companies, while, for the Tuscany Regional Authority, I deal with strategic projects for destination marketing.

As the first General Manager (until 2015), I managed the launch of Pugliapromotion, the Regional Tourism Agency of Puglia, helping to launch the Puglia brand in the international competitive landscape. In ten years of work for the Puglia Regional Council, I worked on the planning and implementation of some of the most active cultural policies in Europe, dealing with the design and management of programmes for the development of cultural and creative businesses, also developing strong expertise in the field of organisation and production of large events.

For the Directorate General of Tourism at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, I worked on the development and implementation of the 2017-2022 Strategic Tourism Plan, with the goal of planning actions and interventions for positioning cultural tourism activities throughout the whole national territory.
