President Fiavet
She is the second woman, in more than half a century, to become president of Fiavet (Italian Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations).
She held her first institutional position at the age of 25 – today she is 35, and deals with crucial issues for distributive tourism policies, with the smart point of view of a digital native. From her travel agency, in a small Perugia district, she outlined the prospects of the local sector as Regional President of Fiavet, President of Umbria Incoming, Councillor of Confcommercio Umbria, Councillor of the Chamber of Commerce of Perugia.
Today, at the helm of the national Fiavet, she is the trade union and political representative of the entire sector of tourism intermediation. In just one year since her appointment, she has made a series of decisive agreements and renewed category contracts. She has a constant dialogue with the institutions, and she is responsible for international partnerships that will help to renew the sector.
Particularly focused on innovation and sharing, she sees online communication and technology as essential tools for today’s travel agent.
