President Basilicata Wiki (progetto APT-Wikimedia)
Professional librarian and contract professor of the Laboratory of techniques and strategies for professional communication at the University of Basilicata, he taught Computer Science applied to philosophical sciences at the University of Salerno for a decade and was national coordinator of Wikimedia Italia for projects in schools and universities for three years.
He is president and founding member of Basilicata Wiki, a social promotion association with which since 2016 he has organised the Wiki Loves Basilicata photo contest and other initiatives based on the active participation of citizens, protagonists of the rediscovery of cultural heritage as a common good and free work, and on the idea that open culture is an extraordinary vehicle for the promotion of the territory.
Trainer for public administrations, universities, schools, training institutions and professional associations, and author of 30 scientific publications, he has participated as a speaker at 90 national and international conferences on open culture, digital information literacy and collaborative platforms of free knowledge.
