She is a member of various scientific and editorial committees. Among these, she is responsible for the World Food Travel Association’s "Food Tourism Research & Trends", she is on the Board of the World Gastronomy Institute and of the Presidency Council of the Italian Society of Tourism Sciences (Società Italiana di Scienze del Turismo – SISTUR).
She is a key note speaker on food and wine tourism for UNWTO – United Nations Tourism Agency. Author of dozens of publications including monographs, editorships, volume contributions, magazine articles and conference documents.
She is a keynote speaker during conferences and events and director of local and international territorial projects.
She is the author of the Italian Food and Wine Tourism Report.
