Assistant manager Hotel Terme Formentin
I’m Silvia Bernardi and I’ve always been a true lover of tourism and hospitality! For the past year I have been working in the family business, the Hotel Formentin in Abano Terme, taking care of operational management, although I would like to be able to do anything.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, I attended the Master’s degree in Tourism Economics and Management organized by CISET and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. This experience has allowed me to apply the economic notions learned over the years to the sector I love, translating my passion into real-world actions in hotels.
I firmly believe that the world of tourism has infinite potential, especially in our country, just as I believe that the digital world today can help this growth in many ways: not only by improving the pre- and post-stay relationship with customers, but also by facilitating the internal communications of the structure’s everyday life, perfecting the operation of "everything the customer does not see".
It is up to us to grasp the tools that this ever-changing world gives us and make the most of them.
