He is the owner of the Villa Giada agricultural holding, producer of national wine section of one of the main trade unions. He is also owner of the Cascina Dani agri-tourism facility with accommodation and restaurant in Agliano Terme. He is Deputy Mayor of the municipality of Agliano Terme.
He is former president of the "The wines of Piedmont" consortium, with over 300 affiliated companies and with the aim of promoting the members’ products internationally.
He is also former president of the national wine-producing section of one of the industry’s main trade unions.
In the past, he was partner of a company specialising in the import and national distribution of wines on the US market, based in Napa Valley, California.
