Vicepresidente Associazione Italiana Ambasciatori del Gusto
Paolo Marchi, born in Milan in March 1955, a professional journalist since 1982, has been working for over 30 years at Il Giornale, where he joined in January 1980 as a sports reporter and left in March 2011 as a food critic.
He always had a vocation as a chef, but in 2004 he had the idea that changed his life: to create Identità Golose, an international congress on cooking, pastry and room service. Mission accomplished together with friend and business partner Claudio Ceroni.
Since December 2019 he has been a reporter for Striscia la Notizia, with a column called Capolavori Italiani in cucina. In his perennial struggle against banality, he hates three words in particular: location, mission and sentiment. Leaving trite clichés to others.
