Paolo Grigolli

After graduating with an honours degree in Economics and Commerce from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome, a Master’s degree in Services Marketing and some work experience in Italy and abroad, he became director of the Chamber of Commerce Special Agency and subsequently of the Tourism and Culture School of Management of the tsm-Trentino School of Management, dedicating himself to the planning and development of research-intervention and managerial training activities.

Since the 1990s, he has been conducting consulting activities for projects linked to local development and tourism in various Italian regions and several countries including Romania, Croatia, Greece, the Altai Republic, the Caucasus, Chile, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Indonesia on behalf of various international organisations including INFORMEST in Gorizia, OECD, WTO and USAID.

He is a Board Member at OPES FUND, dealing with social enterprise projects in India and East Africa and was on the Board of Directors of Wonderful Italy, a start-up company linked to tourist hospitality created by the OLTREVenture fund.

Since 2010, he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of AITR (Italian Association for Responsible Tourism) and, since 2013, has been a member of the advisory board of Natourism srl, a business incubator in the tourism sector.

In 2011, he edited the publication “Responsible tourism”, published by Franco Angeli.

In 2016, he gave the introductory speech at the Tourism General Assembly in Pietrarsa and participated in the Scientific Committee of the MiBact (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities) for the drafting of the National Strategic Plan.

He collaborates in Degree Courses with the IULM University of Milan and is responsible for the Destination Management module of the Master’s degree in Hospitality Management at the Parthenope University of Naples.

With the # OP17 project at Lake Molveno, he was selected at the Italy Pavilion of the 2018 Biennial of Architecture in Venice with the Collettivo OP (OP Collective).

The written work entitled “Destination Management (R) Evolution: il caso Trentino” is being published. He has visited 84 countries on five continents for work and for curiosity.
